Our story

I was probably heavily influenced with knives at a very young age. My Dad owned a butcher shop and cut meat in the evenings. I worked many nights after school with a knife in my hand cutting meat. I learned a lot about knives in the shop. Years later I seen a Damascus knife for the first time and thought it was the coolest thing I ever seen. There was no way I could afford one at the time, so i set out trying to figure out how to make my own Damascus knife. All i had back in 2006 was a small shed in our back yard, so i set up a small work bench and scrounged up a few tools. I loved the process of making that first knife and haven’t been able to stop ever since.

My beautiful wife and I have been married since 1998. We have 7 beautiful kids that we adore. We live on a small farm which is a great place to raise our family. I am a journeyman electrician by trade and work for our local phone company during the day. Lacy is an excellent wife and mother. She takes great care of us all. She is an exceptional artist and paints beautiful paintings in her spare time.
